Students will learn patient assessment, direct pressure, wound packing, pressure dressings, and tourniquet application through practical, scenario based training.

FOUNDATIONS OF EMERGENCY CARE
Learn what to do when an emergency happens and professional help isn’t there yet. This hands on course covers scene safety, patient assessment, MARCH priorities, airway basics, bleeding control, shock, common traumatic injuries, and recognizing medical emergencies.
Students will work through realistic emergency scenarios and practice using common medical kit equipment, including gauze, pressure dressings, tourniquets, chest seals, emergency blankets, and more.
