SHIIPPING / WARRANTY / RETURNS
At Summit Rescue Systems, we build our kits and mounting systems to be dependable, organized, and ready for the environments they’re designed for. Below you’ll find information about shipping, product warranty coverage, and returns.
SHIPPING
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Custom, modified, or made-to-order products may require additional processing time. If an order requires additional time, we’ll communicate the expected timeline as soon as reasonably possible.
Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. Please verify your shipping information before completing your purchase.
Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, Summit Rescue Systems is not responsible for carrier delays, lost or stolen packages, weather-related delays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. If your package appears to be lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we’ll work with you to determine the appropriate next steps.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate. Additional shipping charges may apply if an order needs to be reshipped because of an incorrect or incomplete address.
WARRANTY
Summit Rescue Systems stands behind the workmanship of our products.
Our assembled kits, cases, mounting systems, and other products are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials under normal intended use for 1 year from the date of purchase, unless a different warranty period is specifically stated on the product page.
This warranty covers issues caused by defects in materials or workmanship that existed when the product was manufactured or assembled.
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
The warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Improper use or misuse
-
Abuse, neglect, or accidents
-
Improper installation or mounting
-
Modifications or alterations made after purchase
-
Use of incompatible hardware or equipment
-
Damage caused by a vehicle accident or collision
-
Damage caused by excessive impact, crushing, or other abnormal forces
-
Damage resulting from improper storage or maintenance
-
Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
-
Expired, used, contaminated, or damaged medical supplies
-
Products or components manufactured by third parties when the issue is covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty
Because our products may be used in vehicles and other high-vibration environments, customers are responsible for periodically inspecting mounting hardware, attachment points, cases, and equipment and ensuring everything remains properly secured.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
If you believe your product has a manufacturing or workmanship defect, contact Summit Rescue Systems with:
-
Order number or proof of purchase
-
Description of the issue
-
Photos or video showing the issue, when applicable
-
Any other information reasonably requested to evaluate the claim
We may ask that the product be returned for inspection before determining whether the issue is covered by warranty.
If a warranty claim is approved, Summit Rescue Systems may, at its discretion, repair the product, replace the affected product or component, or provide an appropriate refund or other remedy.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
RETURNS
We want you to be confident in your purchase. Eligible unused products may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return, the product must:
-
Be unused and in original condition
-
Include all original components and accessories
-
Not have been modified, drilled, installed, or altered
-
Be returned in its original packaging when reasonably possible
-
Be accompanied by the original order information or proof of purchase
MEDICAL SUPPLIES
For safety and hygiene reasons, opened, used, or tampered-with medical supplies are not eligible for return.
This includes sterile medical supplies, wound-care products, bandages, gauze, gloves, airway products, and other medical consumables.
If a medical kit has been opened, used, or altered after delivery, the kit may no longer qualify for return.
CUSTOM & MODIFIED PRODUCTS
Products that are custom assembled, drilled, modified, configured, or otherwise altered specifically for the customer are final sale and are not eligible for return due to a change of mind, preference, or fit.
This includes custom mounting configurations and products modified for a specific vehicle, mounting panel, or other application.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging.
Please retain the original packaging until the issue has been resolved, as it may be necessary for a shipping claim.
Do not return damaged or defective merchandise without contacting us first.
REFUNDS
Once an eligible return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you whether the return has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or otherwise required by applicable law.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer for returns due to preference, ordering the wrong product, or other reasons unrelated to a defect or fulfillment error.
